Meeting Notes & AI Analysis

Review AI-generated summaries, transcripts, and coaching.

1Where notes come from

Meeting notes are generated automatically from MeetMatch Video calls — both scheduled appointments and Personal Room calls. Recording starts automatically when you join the room, so you never have to remember to click record. After the call ends, AI processes the recording in the background and your notes appear within a few minutes.

2Sales vs internal meetings

After a call ends, you can tag it as Sales or Internal. This changes what AI analysis runs:
  • Sales meetings — full analysis: summary enriched with prospect context, coaching scores across 7 skill dimensions, wins/misses, interest curve, action items, and follow-up email to the prospect.
  • Internal meetings — streamlined notes: concise summary focused on decisions and discussion points, action items, and transcript. Sales-specific analysis (coaching scores, interest curve, prospect follow-up emails) is skipped since it isn't relevant for team syncs.
If you don't tag the meeting, MeetMatch defaults to Sales for calls with external participants and Internal for calls where all participants are team members.

3What's included

Each meeting note contains:
  • Summary — a concise overview of the conversation, enriched with prospect context (company, prior interactions, questionnaire responses) for more informed analysis.
  • Prospect profile — contact details, engagement stats, pre-call questionnaire answers, and past meeting history pulled from your CRM data.
  • Key points — the most important topics discussed.
  • Action items — next steps extracted from the call, grouped by owner.
  • Interest curve — a visual chart of prospect engagement throughout the call.
  • Transcript — a searchable, timestamped text version with accurate speaker labels. MeetMatch records rep and prospect audio on separate tracks, so each line is correctly attributed to the right person.
  • Coaching feedback — AI-generated score and suggestions for improving your sales conversations.

4Example: what a meeting note looks like

The demo above automatically cycles through each tab: Summary, Actions, Interest, Coaching, and Transcript. Each tab is generated by AI from the call recording — no manual input needed.

5Ask Anything

At the top of the Meeting Notes page, you'll find the Ask Anything bar. Type any question — like "What objections did prospects raise about pricing?" or "Which calls mentioned our onboarding process?" — and MeetMatch searches across all of your recorded calls to give you a sourced answer. The answer includes citations showing which call, which prospect, and the timestamp so you can jump to the source. Suggested follow-up questions help you dig deeper. See the dedicated Ask Anything guide for more.

6Shareable call snippets

On the Transcript tab of any meeting note, click Create Snippet to select a range of the conversation and save it as a shareable clip. You can also clip moments directly from the Interest tab by expanding an inflection point and clicking Clip This Moment, or from the Coaching tab by clicking Clip This Moment on any win or miss card. After creating a snippet, Share to Chat sends it to a team channel. See the Call Snippets guide for details.

7Requesting coaching feedback

Click the Request Feedback button on any meeting note to ask your sales manager for coaching on that call. You'll get an email when they respond. See the Coaching & Feedback guide for the full workflow.

8Searching and filtering

Use the search bar to find notes by keyword. Filter by tags or pin important notes for quick access.
