Creating Event Types

Set up booking types for prospects to schedule with your team.

1Create a new event type

Go to Events and click New Event Type. Give it a name (e.g. "30-Min Demo") and an optional description. You can click Generate with AI to auto-write a description based on your business profile.

2Choose a mode

  • One-on-One — one prospect books with one team member.
  • Round Robin — prospects are distributed across team members based on availability and priority.
  • Group — multiple prospects can join the same time slot.

3Set duration and location

Choose a duration (15, 20, 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes). Then pick a location:
  • MeetMatch Video — built-in video with AI features (recommended).
  • Google Meet — auto-generates a Meet link.
  • Zoom — requires Zoom integration.
  • Phone Call — you call the prospect.
  • In Person — enter an address.
  • Custom — any URL or instructions.

4Assign team members

In the event editor, select which team members should handle this event type. You can adjust each member's booking priority (1–10) — higher priority means they'll be offered more bookings in Round Robin mode. You can also add entire groups at once.

5Attach a questionnaire

Admins can attach a pre-booking questionnaire that prospects fill out before choosing a time slot. This helps your team prepare for the meeting. Manage questionnaires from the Questionnaires page.

6Attach a checklist

Admins and sales managers can create appointment checklists — named, reusable lists of things a rep should do before or during a meeting (e.g. "Send pricing PDF", "Confirm attendees"). Scroll to the Appointment Checklists section at the bottom of the Events page to create a checklist, then assign it to an event type via the Appointment Checklist dropdown in the event editor. Reps will see the checklist when they open an appointment and can check items off — progress is saved so managers can audit completion.

7Share your booking page

Each event type has a public booking URL: meetmatch.ai/book/[your-org]/[event-slug]. You can also embed the booking page on your website using the provided iframe, popup, or widget code snippets.
