Automatic No-Show Detection

MeetMatch detects no-shows automatically from meeting room activity.

1How it works

When a scheduled meeting's LiveKit room ends, MeetMatch checks the participant history. If the prospect never joined the room (only the rep was present), the appointment is automatically marked as a no-show. This replaces the need for reps to manually update appointment statuses — the system knows who actually showed up.

2What happens after detection

When a no-show is detected:
  • The appointment status changes to no_show.
  • No-show data feeds into the No-Show Protection model, improving future predictions.
  • Analytics dashboards update automatically with accurate no-show rates per rep.

3Manual override

If the detection is wrong (e.g. the prospect joined by phone instead), a rep or admin can manually change the appointment status from the Appointments page.
