Install the MeetMatch App

1What is the MeetMatch app?

MeetMatch is a Progressive Web App (PWA). That means you can install it directly from your browser — no app store required. Once installed, MeetMatch appears on your home screen (or taskbar on desktop) and launches in its own window, just like a native app. Benefits of installing:
  • Push notifications — get real-time alerts for new chat messages, meeting reminders, and more.
  • Quick access — tap the icon on your home screen instead of opening a browser and navigating to the URL.
  • Standalone window — no browser chrome, just MeetMatch.

2Install on iPhone or iPad (Safari)

Open meetmatch.ai in Safari (not Chrome — iOS only supports PWA install from Safari).
  1. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add in the top-right corner.
After installation, open MeetMatch from the home screen and enable notifications when prompted. Push notifications on iOS require iOS 16.4 or later.

3Install on Android (Chrome)

Open meetmatch.ai in Chrome. You will see an Install MeetMatch prompt at the bottom of the screen (or a banner in the dashboard). Tap Install and the app will be added to your home screen. If the prompt doesn't appear, tap the three-dot menu in Chrome and select Install app or Add to Home screen.

4Install on desktop (Chrome / Edge)

Open meetmatch.ai in Chrome or Edge. Look for the install icon in the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow), or use the menu: Install MeetMatch. The app will open in its own window and appear in your taskbar or dock.

5Enabling push notifications

After installing, MeetMatch will ask for permission to send notifications. Tap Allow. You can also enable or manage notifications from:
  • The Chat page — look for the amber bell icon in the sidebar header.
  • The install prompt that appears in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard.
If you accidentally denied notifications, you can re-enable them in your browser or device settings under Site Settings > Notifications > meetmatch.ai.

6Email notifications for chat

If you have not installed the app or enabled push notifications, MeetMatch will send you email digests when you have unread chat messages. These arrive every 10 minutes while you are offline. Once you install the app and enable push, email digests stop automatically — you will get real-time push notifications instead.
