Zoom Integration Guide
Connect Zoom to MeetMatch so meetings are automatically created when prospects book appointments.
Overview
When a prospect books a meeting through MeetMatch, the platform automatically creates a Zoom meeting and includes the join link in the calendar invite for both the sales representative and the prospect. No manual setup is needed for each meeting.
What MeetMatch accesses
MeetMatch requests two permissions from your Zoom account:
- Create meetings — MeetMatch creates a scheduled Zoom meeting on your behalf when an appointment is booked.
- Read your user profile — MeetMatch reads your basic Zoom profile (name and email) to associate meetings with the correct team member.
MeetMatch does not access meeting recordings, chat messages, participant lists, or any other Zoom data.
How to connect Zoom
- Log in to your MeetMatch account.
- Navigate to Availability & Integrations from the dashboard sidebar.
- In the Video Conferencing section, click Connect next to Zoom.
- You will be redirected to Zoom to authorize MeetMatch. Sign in to your Zoom account if prompted and click Allow.
- You will be redirected back to MeetMatch. A success message confirms the connection.
New team members are also prompted to connect Zoom during the onboarding wizard after joining an organization.
How it works
- A prospect selects a time slot on your MeetMatch booking page.
- MeetMatch creates a Zoom meeting using the assigned sales representative's connected Zoom account.
- The Zoom join link is included in the confirmation email and calendar invite sent to both the prospect and the salesperson.
- Both parties join the Zoom meeting at the scheduled time using the link.
How to disconnect Zoom
- Navigate to Availability & Integrations in your MeetMatch dashboard.
- In the Video Conferencing section, click Disconnect next to Zoom.
- MeetMatch will remove your Zoom access token and stop creating Zoom meetings.
You can also revoke MeetMatch's access from the Zoom App Marketplace under your installed apps.
Data handling
- MeetMatch stores only your Zoom OAuth tokens (encrypted) and the meeting link/ID for each created meeting.
- No meeting content, recordings, or chat data is accessed or stored.
- Tokens are refreshed automatically and deleted when you disconnect the integration.
